Information:

This event is the 3rd Mid-America TLT event that will take place at the Meramec Caverns located near Stanton, Missouri. You will have the opportunity to go on an 11-mile canoe trip and see Jesus’ creation. Ride the Caveman Zipline, literally, over the river and through the woods. Some ziplines may reach speeds as high as 55 MPH. You will make new friends along with seeing old friends. You will also participate in Team Building Fun and some 101 TLT training. The camping area is beautiful, with lots of room and free showers. Does that sound like fun to you? If it does, you need to continue reading for more details to help you register for this event.

When is this trip?

The action begins Tuesday afternoon, August 1st, as TLTs arrive and set up camp. It will conclude Sunday morning, August 6th, after breakfast and worship.

How old do I have to be?

You are old enough if you are going into the 9th grade for the 2023-2024 school year. Also, college students who want to volunteer are welcome to join us.

Will I need to bring a tent and cooking supplies?

You will need to provide your tent or make arrangements to share with someone. Your food will be provided from Tuesday supper through Sunday breakfast.

How will we get there?

It will be up to each conference to coordinate transportation to and from the event.

How much will the trip cost?

The cost is $200 per person. This cost will include camping, food, all activity costs, patch and t-shirts. It will not include your transportation to the Retreat. The first payment of $50 is due by May 15. The remaining amount of $150 will be due by June 15, 2023, to the IA/MO Conference.

How do I apply?

Step 1 — Fill out the Application on the next page along with the TLT Health form.

Step 2 — If you are not registered with your conference as a TLT and have not had the recommendation forms completed, you will need to have your club director and your pastor fill out one of the recommendation forms.
