The Adventist Learning Community (ALC) is an initiative of the North American Division and provides, among other things, continuing education courses for teachers. These courses can be used towards credits needed for re-certification.

As a benefit to all teachers in the Kansas-Nebraska Conference, each summer La Sierra University offers an extended campus Masters Degree program on the campus of Union College and Union College provides undergraduate courses. These courses are offered tuition-free to Kansas-Nebraska Conference Employees.
